Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Italian superstar Elisa releases her debut U.S. album, Dancing, on Sugar Records in July 2008. Elisa's song 'Dancing' was featured on Fox's hit show 'So You Think You Can Dance' in June 2007 and as a result of the performance, the song shot into the iTunes Top 20. Elisa is a multi-platinum superstar in her home country of Italy with an impressive string of No. 1 hits and high-profile artistic collaborations, such as dueting with Luciano Pavarotti and recording 'Teach Me Again' with Tina Turner for the 2005 film `All the Invisible Children'. ELISA will be supporting the release with acoustic showcases in key markets in July followed by a full tour in the Fall. The Dancing album is a collection of lush tracks that showcase Elisa's Genuine talent.

4 out of 5 stars affascinante voce, grande talento   November 6, 2008

Elisa has a wonderful voice and fabulous potential. The song "dancing" is a great example of her talent, but the album as a whole is still missing something.

Granted, not all songs are expected to be as great as "dancing", but there is a dull redundancy in this album's collection. I hope this talent will be nurtured more and perhaps gets a bit luckier in the future.

I saw Elisa on a special with Bocelli in Tuscani and was impressed. After hearing her album, I'm a fan. I think (and have found) her music won't appeal to everyone but I love it. Whereas there is usually at least one poor cut on any album, I enjoy every one of her pieces and love the tone and quality of her voice.

5 out of 5 stars US debut of an Amazing voice and spirit   September 7, 2008

When I first heard Elisa, I was amazed with the power and softness of her music and felt that she was singing with a passion and love of music and life. You would not regret purchasing this album and listening to a truly talented and gifted artist. This album has so many good songs, "The Waves', ` A little Over Zero", "Broken", "Rainbow" and "Life Goes On" that you may be hard pressed to pick a favorite, and don't forget the title song "Dancing" from her US debut album. Her music has appeared on the TV show So you Think that you Can Dance. I hope that she has great success her in the USA.

I had the pleasure of seeing her live for her US debut at Joe's Pub in New York City and Elisa, her band, and the energy of the place was truly amazing. Most of the songs that she played are on this album.

Purchase the album and tell your friends, they will be thankful that you found such a great artist.

She starts touring her in the States, so see her Live if you can, you will love it.
