Because all the controls are synched through this one receiver, you can store all your audio equipment (save the speakers) in a single easy-to-access location while simplifying your playback options. Though listeners can control the M-64 via the included handheld remote control, a handier option is to purchase a JobSite keypad for each zone. The decor-friendly keypads, which are about the size of a light switch, install in the wall to serve as inclusive control centers. Thanks to the keypads, listeners can operate all four sources from any of the zones--such as in the garage, kitchen, or bedroom--without trekking to the main unit. The keypads are easy to program, with an interactive design that learns the component codes from the receiver's built-in memory. Each zone keypad also comes with its own volume control, giving you total system-wide flexibility.
Additional features include power synchronization inputs that help integrate external sources and home theater systems, six pairs of stereo RCA pre-amp outputs (fixed and variable) for connecting to external amplifiers, a paging input that connects to compatible telephone systems (the paging signal plays through the speakers), and gold-plated connection jacks.
