Great product! October 25, 2008 R. Cubells This is my first home theater system and I did a little bit of research on them before I made my purchase. I think this is an excellent system for the money. My small living room sounds like a movie theatre.
Owned for over a year now October 24, 2008 Matthew OK, I've had mine for well over a year now. I had it in my apartment and now in my house. I LOVE the sound. I am pretty particular about sound and I really like this set up. Great bass and clear highs. I love the iPod dock and have no problems controlling volume or music selection with the remote. The only things I don't care for are the CD/DVD door is cheap and flimsy but has had no problems. When selecting between functions, it takes a few seconds to change, it's just annoying. There is no separate bass and treble controls, yet it still sounds really good. I would definitely reccommend purchasing this. Its a great system that is great on the budget. Worth every penny and still performs well enough that i would write a review after more than a year. This is my first review ever, and I'm cranking my iPod up right now!
Great Home Theater with USB functionality, Great Value October 23, 2008 Ash (South Florida) I've own this product for over a year, and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I was initally looking at the lower end home theater systems, around hundred-dollar price range, but have had no regrets spending a little more for quality.
I use this most for playing DVDs, and watching movies from the USB disk input. I generally use a USB thumb drive, but plugging an external USB hard drive into this slot works as well. You can use the remote to scroll through folders to find and play your music and movies.
I'm not an audio-phile, but the surround sound sounds great to me. I always jump when I hear a door creak from one of the rear speakers. :)
Setup was easy, everything is color-coded and labeled well.
Highly recommend!

Alright, I am an audiophile and love to tweak stuff all the time to get a perfect setup. I have a lot of experience with car audio but not much with home audio. I knew when buying this product that it doesn't have a lot of tunability on the EQ curves but it was cheap and everyone said it sounded good. I decided to give it a try. Well, I love it. It sounds great and I don't have to always mess with a bunch of stuff to make it sound nice. It is also really easy to install. If you can't install it, you are an idiot because everything is color-coded. I literally put the speakers where I wanted them and plugged them in to the right places and I was watching a movie. Very easy to use. I also like the hack so I can watch international DVD's with no problems. I have connections in South America for certain movies and it is nice to be able to watch them on the DVD players. It looks good, puts out ample bass and sound great. I paid a total of $100 including shipping for this setup and I couldn't be happier. If you can find one for cheap, definetely pick it up.
