3 out of 5 stars Strong, somewhat rushed first album   April 18, 2007

I have to admit not liking this album the first time I listened to it. After listening to a few songs individually instead of as an album I found they worked better on there own. I`m ok with that!

The album has plenty of merit. It is valid music and I`m glad it`s been made. It`s just a little rough. I like the ideas presented but I feel more time should have been taken in production and excution.

Anyway, too much pressure on musicians these days to come out with an album full of top twenty singles and the like.=$$$$$$ For Mr. Big. Booo on that. Let them find themselves and come into their own.

I`d recommend to fans of Peaches, (maybe) Fannypack, Miss Kitten etc...

Why not just check it out!

Wouldn't suprise me if the reviewer below me is a close friend or a relative to this artist. This has to be one of the worst albums that I've heard since I've been listening to rap music, and I've been listening to rap for a long time. This album has so many problems. Start with the production by a guy name Black Craker. The production here is bad if you ask me. There is not one track on this album rememerable production wise. He doesn't do too bad of a job, it's just nothing here is remerable when it comes to this album.

As for the rhymes that Bunny Rabbit lays down is horrible. Sometimes she doesn't even rhyme, she just repeat the same lines over and over again, like on "Saddle Up". Even when she tries to get crunk on "We Rollin'" the whole song just falls flat. And there is so much that one can take when it comes to rhymes about sex (which is about 85% out of the 12 tracks on this album). When she tries to rhyme about sex, she reminds me of Khia (although Bunny is a level higher than Khia, but thats not saying much). "Dirty Dirt" and "P**** Queen" are just some of the songs that I'm talking about.

As for anything positive, there is very little. When she started the first verse of "Bunny Baby", you can sense some lyrical skills, but it quickly goes away. And her singing isn't that bad, because she has a soft voice. It's just when she sings sometimes, it's like shes trying to put you in a trance. Imagine one of those horror movie where there are little kids singing together in one of those dark places. Thats how she sounds like on St. Guillen. But those positives really don't do any good towards this album. This album is full of half-decent production, and rhymes that are elementry. Usually I listen to an album atleast twice before I review it, but I had a hard enough time making it through the first time. In fact this album as given me a headache. Unless you have a taste for sex, mixed in with limited subject matter over bad club production, then this album is great for you. No disrespect to Bunny Rabbit & Black Cracker but they are going to have to bring something new to the table if they are ever going to get (positive) recognition. I believe that the voodo sounding music just isn't going to fly in hip hop today (just being honest). So far this album will make a great drink coaster. Trust me, you can find something better to do with 52 minutes of your time. 1.0 star

5 out of 5 stars Bunny Rabbit: a new damaged diva for the 21st Century   March 4, 2007

This record is incredible. The beats are so refreshingly raw, the lyrics so disturbingly poignant and amusing. Make it a point to see Bunny Rabbit (and her crunky sidekick/producer Black Cracker) rock the stage live. You'll never be the same. Seriously.
