Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
KansasCali - When you combine a lead vocalist, a hip hop lyricist, melodic catch phrases, and music that rumbles the beats of tomorrow, you get the innovative sound of KansasCali. This dynamic duo is poised to become the next "Big Thing" in music. KansasCali explores music in bold, innovative new directions, relying on positivity, sick beats, melody, thick arrangements, and thoughtful lyrics. The New Music Revolution is Here!

5 out of 5 stars Great Album!   March 19, 2008
Evil Clown (Chicago (Northside))
I discovered this band just like everyone else threw "CRASH" movie and their video being an extra bonus feature on DVD. This band has everything, good catchy riffs, melodies, some orchestra, singing and some rap. This is defenetly fresh new sound to my ears which I really like.

These youngmen have their own flava and their own look what I mean by this is they don't look or sound like your average rapper or singer they are singing to a beat of there own and are in tune their unique and talentive if everybody listens to them there is no dout that they will be blowing up the music scene. I'm looking forward to their next CD already. Holla Back

Good beats combined with addictive melodies. I am so glad someone suggested this to me because it is a winner. It's refreshing to finally hear some great music without excessive cursing and degrating of women. " I can't go for that" ( This one's my favorite) - This is a great remake of Hall & Oates 1981 classic. I'm not sure but I think I may have heard it on the radio already. If not it should be released as a single. And "If I..." - I first saw this video from the "Crash" DVD. This one should definitely have some radio play. This song is hot and stays in rotation in my player. I'll be spreading the word, just like someone did to me.

I first heard of KansasCali after buying the CRASH soundtrack. I also saw their video on the DVD and was immediately intrigued. At first I thought something wasn't quite right... These guys look like hip hop stars, but their music is very alternative. Since this is a review, I'll try my best to put it into words. Here is the recipe: Mix one part hip hop, one part rock, one part pop, lead vocals, harmonies, live instruments and rap and you get the KansasCali sound. Got it? Good. Discover them before everybody else does. GREAT WORK, HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
