The Best from Opeth! November 23, 2008 Lorraine Nunez Colon (San Juan, PR) This CD has something that I can't stop hearing it!! Blackwater Park sounds here like hell!! Highly recommended!!!
Short but well done October 29, 2008 David Hahn (Brooklyn, NY United States) I'm a sucker for live albums and was looking forward to spending a lot of time with this one. The sound is great and the song selection is good as well, but would have liked to see it a bit longer. Granted, a lot of Opeth songs are in the 10-11 minute range (with many longer) but thought they coulda squeezed at least 2-3 more songs in there (Grand Conjuration, Baying of the Hounds, The Amen Corner, anything from Deliverance, etc.). That's just a small complaint though (and me being a bit greedy) as the songs selected are flawlessly played.
Opeth: Roundhouse Tapes August 4, 2008 Mario Lizano Quesada (San Jose, Costa Rica) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This in an interesting and excelent live work of the legendary black/death - progressve metal band named Opeth. The material included in this 2-cd package (the artwork is very good) shows very important songs of different works from the carreer of the band, played live with an exclelent quality of sound, and of course, the quality of the performance. For the Opeth fan: another great piece of collection. For the metal and progressive fans: a great compilation of live songs of the band. Highly recommended.
The Producing Debut of CHUCK NORRIS! March 26, 2008 R. Malek (Fredericksburg, Va) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've never heard of Opeth, but the fact that this album was produced and titled by Chuck Norris is good enough for me. Also I don't have a choice in purchasing this because anyone who doesn't will soon die of a roundhouse kick related death.
The Roundhouse Tapes January 7, 2008 Megan Rose Hershfield (Rockville, MD USA) I have never been disappointed by an Opeth album and this is no exception. A lot of my favorites are on this one and the sound quality is great. Kudos gentleman.
