Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
There has been a buzz in Music City since mid-2006 when Lady Antebellum performed together for the very first time. The trio- comprised of Hillary Scott (vocals), Charles Kelley (vocals), and Dave Haywood (vocals, acoustic guitar, keys)- says their name, "Lady Antebellum," represents a sense of nostalgia found in the songs they sing. "It felt like magic," says Hillary, remembering their first performance together, "We all felt more comfortable onstage together than we ever had alone."

A year and a half later, the buzz on Lady Antebellum is as strong as it's ever been, and the rest of the nation will soon discover why. Hillary, Charles, and Dave, three young songwriter-musicians with varied influences and backgrounds, create a sound that is fresh and unique, yet still sounds like something you've known for a long time. The debut single, "Love Don't Live Here," is only the beginning for Lady Antebellum. The "Lady A" buzz is coming...April 15!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   November 17, 2008

I'll admit that they're first song, "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" didn't catch me like it did everyone else. However i thought i would give them a chance. I love this CD! It is one of the best country albums I have heard this year and it will definetely not disappoint. The best tracks are 2, 3 (my favorite), 6, 8, 10, and 11. They are also a band who does not dissapoint in concert, they sound just as good if not better live. Definetely worth checking out.

5 out of 5 stars Review   November 16, 2008

Great CD! Not your typical CD with only a few good songs. I love the fact that this group has written most or all of their own songs. It's no surprise that they recently won a CMA award!

5 out of 5 stars Great Trio   November 13, 2008
Leigh (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA)
I first got interested in Lady A because of Hillary Scott. I am a big fan of her Mom, Linda Davis (and her dad, Lang Scott). (Very talented family.)I have followed her mom's career for many many years. I had met Hillary several times through the years at her Mom's events and basically watched her grow up. So, I was curious when she started recording. I wan't quite sure what to expect. I got the album and was very impressed. This trio is very talented and I know they will go far. I look forward to hearing more from them. Nice vocals. Great CD!

5 out of 5 stars Great music   November 13, 2008
Holly Kincaid (Fishers, IN USA)
I am not a huge country music fan -- I am very selective about what I like and enjoy in this genre. My tastes tend to run along the lines of bluegrass.

I bought this album when it first came out and it is STILL in my car. My biggest criteria for an album is how it wears over time. There have been albums I have loved initially and then six months later I am really sick of them. This one is just the opposite. The longer I have it, the more I like it. The quality of the songwriting and vocals are both very, very high. I was glad to see them win at the CMA last night and hope it will help more people discover this wonderful group.

It's great !

5 out of 5 stars GREAT MUSIC FROM A NEW GROUP   October 30, 2008
Clipped by Klipsch (South Carolina)
This album is some great contemporary country music from a new group destined to become the next Little Big Town. There isn't one bad cut on the entire track; everything is so-o-o good. I'm very anxious to hear their next album; hopefully I won't have to wait too long.
