Editorial Reviews:

Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts has spent most of his life feeling 'insignificant'. Bullied at school for being 'different', he realized growing up that he had one true friend and that was his voice. Singing was his escape. He was able to lose himself in his own little world - the vicious words of his tormentors replaced by hauntingly beautiful lyrics and melodies that lifted his heart and spirit. It was a love, a passion, a lifeline that would follow Paul into adulthood and help him through many more periods of adversity.

Though it's fair to say that when Paul strolled awkwardly - almost apologetically - onto the Cardiff stage for his first Britain's Got Talent audition a week before that final, in his now infamous 35 Tesco suit, and announced to Simon and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan that he was going to sing opera, they never thought for one minute they were looking at their winner. Until he opened his mouth and started to sing.

5 out of 5 stars he sings with his heart, and therefore beats many pro's   August 12, 2008
Sherill E. Lisse (Amsterdam, The Netherlands EUROPE)
I've never been impressed with any singer that could sing "the right way". All Technical Blah-Blah and BS (sorry). It's all about singing with the heart, and being able to move people so deeply, that tears start flowing. THAT's REAL singing. Pavorotti never moved me to tears. This guy did. Music is not only hearing with your ears... it has a lot to do with feeling as well. Real singers sing from the heart and are therefore also able to touch the hearts of others as well. Not a mystery, just a common fact. May Paul Potts keep singing like this always, and doesn't loose himself in technical voice gymnastics and his songs ending up flat and heartless.

5 out of 5 stars An legend in the making   August 11, 2008
Nyenwe C. Nmegbu (Germany)
There are three different groups of people in this world. The first are those who are born great. The second group are those who greatness was bestowed on them. The last group are people who worked very hard to become great. Paul Potts is one of those who was born great with a voice that i can only describe as legendary. It is a sad thing to hear people discredit him like that. This singer is on his way to become the next Luciano Pavarotti.

5 out of 5 stars He can sing...   August 11, 2008

I saw him sing on the "talent" show, I was amazed just like the audience was & yes I got goose bumps too.

4 out of 5 stars Gifted   August 7, 2008
Rita M. Schiano (Massachusetts)
Coming from a family of opera singers, I listened to operatic voices all my life. Paul Potts is a true talent. Hope we hear more from this young man.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely Wonderful   August 3, 2008
Greek Chef (Fraser, Mi)
This is such an enjoyable CD--the music is quite familiar. Much of the music is in Italian--but absolutely fantanstic. Have shared the music with friends and they are also purchasing this CD
