Probably the greatest works ever written for solo cello. The recording quality is excellent and Yo-Yo Ma's interpretation intimate and sublime, the perfect companion for your contemplative mood.

At the first note, this CD puts me at ease like nothing else. Warm and curvaceous notes guided by the deft hand of Yo-Yo Ma fill the air when this plays. After listening to this, the world feels like a better place to be.
