| Customer Reviews: Nigel does it again February 2, 2009 V. L. Stewart Carton Nigel Kennedy is so wonderful! Love the pieces on this CD and it is great listening! Feel good music.
World Class - Hauntingly Beautiful February 28, 2008 S. Barnes (UK) I saw Nigel Kennedy perform years ago at a very small concert in Malvern... and I have been hooked to his music ever since. The "Inner Thoughts" CD is not only a collection of beautiful soulful classical music, but it is also soulfully and beautifully played by Kennedy.
The tracks are from some of the quietest movements of some wonderful violin concertos, which not only makes it exquisitely peaceful to listen to on its own, but also excellent for background music too.
A beautiful, beautiful recording - thank you.
Nigel Kennedy at his best January 19, 2006 Ruth W. Stidger (Dallas, TX USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This CD is truly Nigel Kennedy at his best, with excerpts from Violin concertos by Bruch, Bach, Brahms, Vivaldi, Mendelsohn-Bartholdy, Elgar, and Vivaldi.
That being said, who is entering data for classical music at amazon these days? Do a search for Nigel Kennedy and you will not find this November, 2005 CD listed. Yes, there are some other violinists playing on the recording -- but only on the cuts that are numbers for two violins. This is a Nigel Kennedy recording. His name is on the front as is his photo.
And surely there must have been some print reviews that could appear with the listing.
Amazon has always been my favorite online shopping source, but it appears that perhaps someone more knowledgeable about classical music should be entering the data for our use.
