All Reference speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance "seen" by the amplifier or head unit. Plenty of bass..I put 4 of these in my tacoma and wished i only used 2 in the rear of the extended cab.But put 2 different speakers wiith more high end in the front for better mids.Good speaker highs and lows,just not very good mid range for voice.

Not great speakers, but better than the stock ones I had. Literature I read said they were supposed to be a "no modifications" fit for the front doors in my 97 Tacoma. They really aren't. Had to cut off the mounting ears that stuck out on the included mounting bracket and also had to trim part of the door panel to get it to fit properly. Other than that, they are in and working. They are also listed as a fit for the rear speakers and they probably are, but I did a custom fit with some 6x9's for that so I can't really say for sure.

Pretty good speaker for a great price. Installed in a Chevy Avalanche. Very easy installation, holes lined up perfectly. Sound is good, however, bass is very tight. Recommend sub with these for sure. They are more midrange than anything else. All in all, good deal.

Short sweet and to the point. These babies are excellent for the price, around 65 on Amazon way lower than Crutchfield. I hooked them up to a Sony Deck with 52 watts per channel and they perform beautifully. The highs are crisp and the lows are clear. Of course they don't handle bass too well but that's why one needs a sub. It's been my personal experience that if I, need a set of speakers for any application I will just go with Infinity. I have never been disappointed and always very pleased.

Good, accurate frequency response. I like the adjustable tweeter option. Easy fit kit included. Probably get another pair for my fronts.
