Coupled this with HKT18 and it really sounds very good. The next version 254 is $[...]. I got this for $[...] from Amazon. Really worth it for the price.
Dont worry about the HDMI switching. Not that useful at all. I have my PS3 pointing to my LCD for video and HK for sound. Very satisfied.

this is an awesome product. when they say high power 30 watts per channel, they aren't kidding around, it is easily more than twice as loud as my old rca 100 watt per channel system, and hooked up with some polk audio speakers, there is no comparison in sound quality. the hdmi is purely a pass through, meaning video and sound just go strait through, if you want the sound to go through the 5.1 system, you will have to get it through optical cable or rca type digital cable. all in all I'm very happy with my purchase, price was very reasonable, delivery was fast, and sound quality is excellent.

I found the setup for this receiver easy and the manual readable. The sound quality is good and my wife finds the remote easy to use, unlike our other remotes
