I must admit Charlie lost me after Windows but he gave us over 10 years worth of classic southern rock. And its about time this collection of tunes made it to cd. Don't let the presence of Uneasy Rider fool you - these are the grooviest tunes ever waxed by my favorite southern rocker. Funky Junky, Big Man, Revelations, Somebody Loves You, and my fave, Midnight Lady ("sho know how to please your man"). Charlie never sounded quite like this again unfortunately. You will find it hard to believe but some of these tunes even sound like they could have been written with the O'Jays in mind. While Nightrider may be the CDBs best southern rock moment, this one will appeal to R&B lovers and classic rock fans alike. A highly underrated and highly recommended gem from the early 1970's.
